Di daerah sinilah awal mulainya Gudeg Bu Sri didirikan dan sampai sekarang masih tetap eksis dan berkembang pesat dengan membuka cabang ditempat lain untuk memberikan yg terbaik untuk penikmat dan pencinta Gudeg di Yogyakarta bahkan wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Jogja.
